MuttShack is an organization founded on courage. Our volunteers responded to the worst animal disaster in our lifetime. They created shelter and a rescue triage and saved over 3,000 animals in the most demanding and excruciating post Katrina environment.

They work to stop the killing of healthy animals in overcrowded shelters .They find foster homes for abandoned and abused animals. Rescue, rehabilitate and nurture them to health and find them quality, permanent homes and promote spaying, neutering.
