dressed as elves came out in full force at the Esplanade
Mall this weekend to help Jefferson Parish Animal
Shelter animals find homes.
"This is the perfect time of the year to expand your animal
family" said Amanda St. John, Founder of MuttShack Animal
Rescue. "While many people are interested in bringing
home a new family member, we still need to convince people
to adopt from shelters.
Shelter dogs come with all their shots, microchips and are
spayed/neutered and senior dogs are already house and
command trained. With so many dogs in shelters, we
urge you to go and visit the shelters and adopt and not to
buy from pet stores.
